Get ready to swoon! And covet. And love it! I’m talking about jewelry, rings to be exact. Blingy, sparkly, eye-catching numbers that make a girl feel extra special. I love all kinds of rings! Cocktail rings, engagement rings, thrift store finds or something from my great aunt’s fabulous treasure trove of a jewelry box. I also love all kinds of rocks! Diamonds, semi-precious and even a little faux — if it looks good, I’ll wear it! This week, we’re showcasing different wedding ring styles. Size doesn’t matter when it comes to a ring from your true love. Though I’m gonna take a stand and say that style does. I mean, we’re talking about a piece of jewelry that you’ll wear 24/7 for… well… forever. (At least that’s the idea! Don’t use me as your example.)
Are you on the hunt for a wedding or engagement ring? Are you sort of anticipating a proposal? Maybe you’re planning to pop the question or you know someone who is. Whatever the case, I think you’ll love the wedding ring styles and pics we’re sharing this week. They’re all from Trumpet & Horn, a Los Angeles–based husband & wife team of jewelers who curate and sell exquisite vintage and vintage-inspired rings, plus other jewelry perfect for all the occasions that come after marriage. Like Tuesday. That’s an occasion isn’t it? Don’t live in L.A.? No worries, that’s what the internet is for! Take a look at their website and Instagram.

If you’ve been one of my loyal blog followers, you know that we publish these image roundups weekly. We feature a particular event for a particular client so you can go deep on the particular theme. If you know what’s up, skip this part. New visitors, take a look below…
In case you missed it, here’s what we’re doing, mentioned in the first blog. (And if you already know what’s going on, skip to the first photo!) Every day we’re posting event photos & inspiration to my Instagram page to give you ideas for your own events. And, of course, to encourage you to hire yours truly, one of the top wedding planners in Los Angeles, for your next soirée! In terms of format, we’re trying to capitalize on the whole hashtag calendar world and take advantage of #WeddingWednesday (#WW) and #ThrowbackThursday (#TBT) by posting wedding photos and cool stuff we’ve done on Wednesdays and on Thursdays, harkening back to a past client’s event, be it a celebrity, or just one of us tastemakers.
Favorite Event Photos and Inspiration – Monday:
Something old, something new! Which is it? We can’t really tell, can you? This gorgeous ring is from Trumpet & Horn, sellers of vintage and vintage-inspired jewelry.
Favorite Event Photos and Inspiration – Tuesday:
Put a ring on it! Even if it’s a napkin! I love this idea for a playful twist on a luxe table setting. Let the guests take them home as party favors. And maybe one of your friends will “repurpose” one as a cocktail ring at your next party! Cheers dahling!
Favorite Event Photos and Inspiration – Wednesday:
Simple and stunning. This exquisite ring doesn’t even need a band. It’s perfect just as it is. Happy #WeddingWednesday!
Favorite Event Photos and Inspiration – Thursday:
To have and to hold. And to wear! We’re smitten with this stunning vintage Victorian-era sparkler (and the bunny, too!). I’m sure it’s not at all proper to call a ring that! But whatever. It’s gorgeous and it does sparkle! #TBT
Favorite Event Photos and Inspiration – Friday:
Cocktail ring as a napkin ring? Why not! All this needs is an actual cocktail and I’d consider this table set! #TGIF
Favorite Event Photos and Inspiration – Saturday:
Diamonds may be a girl’s best friend, but they’re not you’re only friend! This ring — set with a luminous Ethiopian opal — has a feminine, vintage-inspired design. And it’s made to order just for you! How fun is that?
