Sure. Of course! We all want to know, right? What’s trending in Hollywood as far as baby shower ideas? Well, look no further. We’ve got some great tips for decor, theme, food, games and how to involve older siblings. And the best part is that you don’t have to break the bank!

5 Tips To Planning a Baby Shower Without A Celebrity Budget
1. Decor
Pacifiers and baby bottles are fun, but why not take your baby shower to the next level. Do something bold and dramatic with ostrich feathers and a pop of color. You can take a neutral color palette and incorporate a neon pop of color into invitations or decor. It shows that you are paying attention to what’s going on in fashion magazines.
2. Theme
It’s fun to come up with a theme for your party. It’s a good jumping off point to create a color scheme and it unifies everything. Your guests may find your party to be more interesting with more novelty-type decor. The theme can be as simple as a color or more daring like Tisha Campbell’s baby shower theme, Cirque du Bebe. The idea is to come up with a theme that everyone can wrap their arms around.

3. Party Food
It happens all the time – women get pregnant at the same time as their friends. So, if you have a lot of pregnant women attending the baby shower, curb those cravings with hearty food choices like mac & cheese with lobster. If you want to go a bit lighter and do a salad, how fun to serve it in martini glasses? Fill a martini shaker with all of the preferred salad components, shake it up to mix in the dressing and pour it into a martini glass.
4. Games
Games are a big part of baby showers. How about a baby name game – match the names of babies with their celebrity mommies?

5. Kids
It used to be that you would only have a shower for the first baby. These days, parents who already have kids are having showers, especially if there is a significant span between the kids. Incorporate older kids into the shower. Get them excited so that not all of the attention is on the new baby. Make them feel that they are part of the process by giving them a job, like running the games or writing a list of he presents that mom received.
Big Take Away – It Doesn’t Have To Be Expensive!
All of these baby shower ideas are super easy to implement AND they don’t have to cost a ton. Ok. I know that the mac & cheese with lobster might be a little extravagant, but give me some credit for the tossed salad idea! Use plastic martini glasses if you don’t have the real stuff. For decor, always think about what you already have around the house and re-purpose whatever you can. If you have an idea that might be a little costly, think of a less expensive alternative and it might even be better!
