Everything is red hot this week! Let your senses be inspired!

Remember that dixie cup joke we’d tell when we were kids? “What’s black and white and red all over? A newspaper!” Please tell me you’ve heard that one before! I can’t be that old can I?!! Well anyway, I was thinking that The Party Goddess! blog is kinda like that this week because we’re feeling inspired by the color red. It’s always a good pick-me-up color, whether you’re serving it at a party or wearing something red and fabulous. We’ve got some tasty red food, red blooms and other pics we think you’ll like. I guess you could say we’re red all over.

In case you missed it, here’s what we’re doing, mentioned in the first blog. (And if you already know what’s going on, skip to the first photo!) Every day we’re posting event photos & inspiration to my Instagram page to give you ideas for your own events. And, of course, to encourage you to hire yours truly, one of the top Los Angeles event planners, for your next soirée! In terms of format, we’re trying to capitalize on the whole hashtag calendar world and take advantage of #WeddingWednesday (#WW) and #ThrowbackThursday (#TBT) by posting wedding photos and cool stuff we’ve done on Wednesdays and on Thursdays, harkening back to a past client’s event, be it a celebrity, or just one of us tastemakers.

Is that a donut? On The Party Goddess! blog? That’s weird. I’ve never mentioned donuts before. Or how much I love them, my borderline addiction to them… or have I? Anyway, we’re featuring all things red this week so this donut was a must-have!

Favorite Event Photos and Inspiration – Tuesday:

To add a pop of color and flavor to pretty much any meal, go with tomatoes! Slice with some fresh mozzarella and basil, and you’ve got a colorful caprese salad. And even better, for more flavor and a richer color — like the ones in this photo — roast them in the oven. You almost can’t mess them up!

Favorite Event Photos and Inspiration – Wednesday:

We just love this dramatic tropical bloom! It’s like a bird of paradise, only red! It’s a beautiful way to make any event feel tropical! Happy #WeddingWednesday!

I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream! It’s starting to warm up, so why not have an ice cream sundae bar with fresh fruit, shaved chocolate and all the other fixin’s at your next party? #TBT
