Here’s a summary of the tips from the clip. Take them and make them your own.

Party Planning Tips And Trends From Top Celebrities:

1. Keely & Pierce Brosnan

Two of my absolute favorite clients, Keely and Pierce Brosnan, always have fresh flowers, and fresh juices at their parties. It’s a definite must! If entertaining for brunch, one way to do this is to have a Mimosa or Bellini bar and you can even make it kid-friendly with mocktails. Another fun idea is to serve little bottles of champagne with straws.

2. Sofia Vergara

We planned a holiday party for Sofia Vergara. Her theme was silver and gold, mixing all things metallic. We used a ton of candles and turned down the lights because everyone looks their best in candlelight! Think about grouping a lot of decor items that you already have. And keep things monochromatic.

3. Britney Spears

Being raised in Louisiana, Britney Spears wanted to keep things on the simpler side for her son’s monster truck themed birthday party. She wanted food that kids and adults would like so we served burgers and all that good stuff! We incorporated the condiments into the centerpiece so it also had a purpose.

4. Kelly Preston, Jenna Elfman & Laila Ali

Many celebrities are deeply involved with their charities, and these three ladies are no exception! Kelly Preston, Jenna Elfman and Laila Ali hosted a benefit for Best for Babes. They were focused on the environment and being eco-friendly by using bamboo plates instead of disposable plates. People often get intimidated with the whole idea of being eco-friendly, but you don’t have to go completely organic. There are so many things that you can find by just shopping at your local farmers market. Pull a few things and weave them into your event.

5. Jennifer Love Hewitt

We set up a candy bar for this Children’s Hospital Los Angeles Benefit for Jennifer Love Hewitt. Think cotton candy and a huge assortment of other colorful sweet candies. Another great trend is garnishing drinks with candy. Rim the glasses with your favorite crushed candy.

6. Katherine Heigl

I have to say that Katherine Heigl is obsessed with her dog and it has become a huge Hollywood trend! So, for a party that we did for Katherine’s mom and sister, we included the dogs by having dog toys, dog treats and you can even have place settings for the dogs. You’ve probably seen those gourmet bakeries for dogs. You can go a little crazy by pampering the dogs with any treats from a gourmet shop.

Big Take Away – Focus On A Theme!

Instead of heading in a million different directions, choose a theme for your party. The theme might even be as simple as a color! Look around the house and incorporate items that you already have, or take a trip to your local thrift store. You can spray paint decor items in silver, gold or bronze. You can definitely find inexpensive items without breaking the bank.
