Make A Statement! Let Your Inner Diva Show With Some Outer Bling!

This week was all about making a statement! Being bold! Being fancy! Wearing pearls with your yoga pants! In other words, being a diva and not being afraid to show it! That means opening up the jewelry box where you keep the good stuff — even if it’s not the weekend — and rocking the whole denim & diamonds vibe! Or the “Yes, I always wear rubies to my Tuesday meeting” vibe!

Elizabeth Taylor said, “Big girls need big diamonds.” And I know she was right! So go ahead, give it a try! Be a little extra fancy. It’ll make you feel fab! It is Real Jewelry Month, but if the jewels aren’t exactly real, who’s gonna know?

If you’ve been one of my loyal blog followers, you know that we publish these image roundups weekly. We feature a particular event for a particular client so you can go deep on the particular theme. If you know what’s up, skip this part. New visitors, take a look below…

In case you missed it, here’s what we’re doing, mentioned in the first blog. (And if you already know what’s going on, skip to the first photo!) #ThrowbackThursday (#TBT). Why is brooch spelled like that instead of broach? It’s sort of a good subject to broach now that it’s Real Jewelry Month! Calling all single girls! Let’s celebrate Sadie Hawkins Day! Wait… we don’t mean you should crash a high school dance in a straw hat and overalls! But you could try channeling all of this week’s boldness and inner diva-ness into making the first move with someone new! Go ahead, make Sadie proud! I think I actually took “ultimate” to a whole new level with my delayed Dia de les Muertos party invitation below. In lieu of gifts, I asked my guests to bring single guys. Hey, why not invite all single guys in the world!
