If you missed out on her show here are the Holiday Decorating Tips Part 2 & some more!

TIPS:

Get Personal

Place-card holders are a fun and festive way to glam up the table while also letting guests know where they will be sitting. Think outside the box by using holiday-inspired items like individual gingerbread men, snowflakes, ornaments, or even mini evergreens tied with a beautiful ribbon with each person’s name). Instead of spending more money on a gift for each guest, why not let them take their place setting home? It’s personalized, unique, and memorable.

Double-Duty Edible Decor

Have your table décor work double duty with individual desserts and sweets placed on a pedestal or high tray. Example: Picture candy apples dipped in caramel or chocolate and then individually wrapped in cello with beautiful ribbon nesting among evergreen sprigs. Not only will the table decor look fresh and festive, but guests can also eat directly from the décor or take them home as favors at the end of the party.

Have A “Dessert Swap”

Tell everyone to go to the 99 Cent Store and buy a bread, brownie or cookie mix and make them and bring them. Have it play double duty as a contest/activity. Then, at the end of the evening everyone takes a few of everything home with them!

Back To The Basics

The really basic, like 1950’s basics. No one believes me but casseroles are fabulous. They are so inexpensive to make, can use leftover ingredients, freeze well and will KNOCK YOUR GUESTS SOCKS OFF. Guaranteed!

Enjoy!
Happy Holidays
