Greetings Goddesses!
As you know, I really don’t ask you guys to do much other than sit back and enjoy the view but today is a little different because I need a favor. So all of you high schoolers and soon to be party planners and party planners who’ve had “just one little question” for me, it’s payback time. On October 22nd our really good family friend, Sarah Boudreau-Romano was honored by the Food Allergy Initiative of Chicago at their annual gala where she gave a super compelling speech that captured the attention of everyone and brought tears to many of the 600 people in attendance. And they raised over $1.2 million dollars for food allergy research.
Sarah has the unique experience of being both a pediatric allergist and a mother with three of her four kids living with food allergies (btw, over 6,000,000 kids in the US are believed to be suffering because of food allergies – peanuts, the whole deal). Her kid’s dramas are so severe that she has to go to school with them and EAT LUNCH WITH THEM every day so they don’t have an issue. The day I talked to her one of them had just been barfing and they didn’t even know why at first. Thank goodness she was there! Shoot me if I had to do that and yet she’s so cheerful about the whole thing.

As part of her marketing campaign, Sarah is hoping to be voted as one of the top 25 blogs by an on-line company called “Circle of Moms”. “Circle of Moms” is searching for the top 25 food allergy blogs in the world…and Sarah undoubtedly deserves to be at the top of this list! She is one of the only pediatric allergists writing blogs and no pediatric allergist has as many kids with severe food allergies!

She has a tremendous opportunity to help so many families that are experiencing her same exact issues. I’m trying to convince Sarah to start a whole consulting deal about helping other families so you’ll want the inside track with her if you ever need it!
