I am going to give up explaining why every single thing I want to blog about right now involves a gift. I’m sure there’s some deep seated psychological issue going on right now but I’m going to get over it and hope my MasterCard isn’t tapped. Two amazingly elegant websites for gifts (or of course yourself, your home or just because you’re worth it) are Twenty Limited ( www.20ltd.com ) and Vivre ( www.vivre.com ).
First Twenty Limited. It’s a very black, very swank European (I think?) website that features 20 items in very “limited” quantities. Online right this second are some very drop dead gorgeous Christian Louboutin’s and a darling pink and red throw pillow (I am also currently obsessed with finding the perfect throw pillows so assume that you’re going to read about those soon.) The unique thing about this site is that once the stuff is gone, it’s gone. That’s it. No more, can’t get it. Kind of makes everything even more coveted, you know?
Second on the chopping block, Vivre. I will not tell you that anything on this site is inexpensive but I will tell you that all of it is divine. From shoes to handbags to caftans you might don while strolling on Harbour Island, to of course, housewares (how can you dress like a diva if your home is unadulturated? You can’t, sorry honey. So if you are a well deserving chick, send your significant other this link and maybe you’ll score some rock star bling. Happy hunting.
