Toss The Knife! No Carve Pumpkin Ideas!

Got pumpkins? What to do with them when Halloween’s over!Toss The Knife! No Carve Pumpkin Ideas! | The Party Goddess!

So you’re getting ready to clean up from your wild Halloween bash, as well as the slew of trick-or-treaters who made their way to your door. You’ve also tossed the pumpkins you carved scary faces into because they were starting to look (smell?) a little ripe. But what to do with all the other pumpkins that you didn’t carve? Unless you’re planning a giant pumpkin-pie-making & pumpkin-seed-toasting session, you might be wondering what to do with them. If you want something a little different decor-wise — you know, if a plain old pumpkin is just too plain — we’ve got a few no carve pumpkin ideas that will make all your orange gourds look stylish and fresh up until you pull out the Christmas lights.

Save the pumpkins! No carve pumpkin ideas!

None of the no carve pumpkin ideas we’re sharing this week are crafts that will take over your entire kitchen or dining room table. OK, there’s one you might want to do outside and it does involve a power tool. But seriously, even that one’s pretty simple. In fact, if you’re not well acquainted with how to use a drill, this could be your entrée to the wide world of drill bits. It’s not like you’d be ruining a nice piece of furniture — or your living room wall — if you do something wrong. Check out Friday’s post if you’re wondering what I’m talking about. As for the rest, all you’ll need is simple stuff like fabric paint, nail polish, copper tape, spray paint. And pumpkins… you’ll need pumpkins!

Where to find The Party Goddess! ideas galore?

If you’ve been one of my loyal blog followers, you know that we publish these image roundups weekly. We feature a particular event for a particular client so you can go deep on the particular theme. If you know what’s up, skip this part. New visitors, take a look below…

In case you missed it, here’s what we’re doing, mentioned in the first blog. (And if you already know what’s going on, skip to the first photo!) Every day we’re posting event photos & inspiration to my Instagram page to give you ideas for your own events. And, of course, to encourage you to hire yours truly, one of the top event planning companies, for your next soirée! In terms of format, we’re trying to capitalize on the whole hashtag calendar world and take advantage of #WeddingWednesday (#WW) and #ThrowbackThursday (#TBT) by posting wedding photos and cool stuff we’ve done on Wednesdays and on Thursdays, harkening back to a past client’s event, be it a celebrity, or just one of us tastemakers.

Favorite Event Photos and Inspiration – Monday:

Sequin Polka Dot Pumpkin: (via Sugar & Cloth) How crazy cute are these? Bejeweled pumpkins! Or is it bedazzled? That has a certain “as sold on TV” ring to it, but in reality, they’re pretty fab!

Marbleized Pumpkin: (diy via Better Homes & Gardens & photo via Martha Stewart) This is the coolest “pumpkin as objet d’art” I’ve seen! And you’ll never guess how easy it is. Nail polish swirled in water… nail polish! Sort of like a pumpkin pedi!
