A day just for donuts! I love that that’s a thing! But why not a week?

Alright my peeps, let’s hear it for people with a sweet tooth! (I’m not sure I even trust people who don’t like dessert!) This week has my favorite random holiday ever… National Donut Day! Not sure why it’s only a day instead of a week, but oh well. I’m celebrating all week anyway. I mean, you buy donuts by the dozen, so why only take one day to acknowledge these delectable, delish delights? You do buy donuts by the dozen, don’t you? I mean, is there any other way to get them? Yeah, I didn’t think so.

Well as I was saying, one day isn’t enough to explore all the varieties and flavors and shapes. So many donuts, so little time! That’s why I’m incorporating them into my dinner menus this week. Glazed on Monday. Bear claw on Tuesday. Buttermilk on Wednesday. Twists on Thursday. Old fashioned on Friday. Sprinkles on Saturday. Eclairs on Sunday. Donut holes on… dang, I’m out of days! Donut holes for lunch!
