These Too Are Super Inexpensive!
Here’s part two to our Mother’s Day gifts blog. (If you missed it, take a gander at part 1 – 3 Thoughtful Mother’s Day Gift Ideas That Rock!). We all want to make mom smile on her special day, but we’ve done the cards, flowers, spa days, and maybe even the bling and the bags. Well, we’ve got three more super cool #diy Mother’s Day gifts that you may have not thought about. And, like we said before, the best part is the price!
In a little “throwback Tuesday/Thursday something post”, I figured I’d share ideas to make mom feel like she is the one-and-only in a segment clip I did for Fox News. Stay tuned!
Here’s The Clip Where I Cover Inexpensive Gift Ideas:
Here’s a summary of the tips from the clip. Take them and make them your own.
Mother’s Day Gifts That Won’t Break The Bank:
1. Personalized Mug
Chalkboard paint is a great way to get the kids involved in a gift for mom. Take a mug and put chalkboard paint around the bottom of it. Then the kids can write a fun note or show off their creative artwork.
2. Jar Of Goodies
How about a jar full of mom’s favorite goodies? It can be filled with really inexpensive office supplies, bath products, cool gift certificates or homemade certificates from the kids.

3. Mother’s Day Breakfast In Bed
There’s always breakfast in bed. Why not make her favorite cinnamon rolls or other breakfast food. Get the kids involved in the preparation and delivery. But the key thing is that you can’t make mom do the dishes after!
Big Take Away – Mix It Up!
We all like surprises. Well, maybe some of us more than others! But what I’m getting at is don’t get the same gift that you gave last year. Sure, she loved that vase of flowers, but change it up. Put a little more thought into it this year. Personalize your gift and I assure you that your mom will love it!
