I Thumbs Up Smiley Face You On World Emoji Day!

Is it even possible to communicate these days WITHOUT emojis??? No, I didn’t think so! They’re so popular they’re getting their own movie! And Sir Patrick Stewart (yes, a man who has been knighted!) is playing the poop emoji! Here’s what he had to say about it in Rolling Stone magazine. What a world, right?! Well, today is World Emoji Day, in honor of all the cute little graphics that bring our communications to life!

Pictures Are Worth A Thousand Words

Seriously, stinky, grunts-a-lot cavemen seemed to know something we didn’t when they carved pictures into trees or the walls of their caves. Why use words when you can use pictures?! It’s so much more efficient and exciting! A simple, mundane question like “How’s your day going?” can be answered much more expressively through emojis. Why type out “my day is money!” when you can just just use a picture of cash or a couple of dollar signs? Or a piece of poop, if that’s the case! If you are, in fact, having a poopy day, check out our blog that has 5 Refreshing Summer Cocktails with recipes you can make stat! That should do the trick.

No Misunderstandings!

Emojis are also helpful in emails so that people don’t misinterpret the emotion behind your words. You know what I’m talking about! How many times has someone asked you, “Are you mad?” when all you did was email asking “When is the report going to be ready?” Add a smiley face after it, and you’re good as gold! No misunderstanding! Am I right?!

I’ll admit, sometimes it’s nice to have the last word. On World Emoji Day, it’s better to have the last emoji!
