Canter’s Deli on Fairfax is an LA landmark. It has been a Hollywood honchos and local hipster hangout since the 1930’s. It is a New York style Jewish delicatessen. Inside the deli is bar Kiblitz which has live music till 2am, while the restaurant/deli is open 24 hours.
Their black and white cookies make us feel like we’re in Central Park. Their pastrami reubens cure hangovers, while their matzoh ball soup cures our winter cold.
Now we can get all that and more on the go. They have caught on to the food truck craze and we are stoked at their ability to change with the times.
There is nothing new and twisty with their menu, just editing and highlighting the classics. Some specials will be rotated on a daily basis.
