A few things to keep in mind when planning your next event:
* Remember, it takes a lot to get people to “get it.”
* Begin with the end in mind. What do you want to accomplish? Just have a good time? Entertain clients? Sell a product? Impress your husband’s new boss?
* Do whatever you do really well, even if that means doing less.
* Ask a kid. Doing a pirate themed event? Ask a child what images they conjure up when they talk about pirates so you can get inspiration for your centerpieces, invitations and décor.
