The New Work Order of BLANKSPACES

It seems the work/live studio space is a thing of the past. Now, a creatively independent company can rent co-working office space. You don’t rent an empty building, but rather a pre-fabricated creative and communal office space.

Blankspaces (www.blankspaces.com) conforms to your needs, whether you need office space for the creative team of your advertising agency for the whole year, or just five hours one afternoon to complete your freelance writing gigs.

Their event spaces also allow you to rent a high-end conference room for your wheeling and dealings or an open floor plan for your company of thirty to mingle and co-create. Five hours at their “work bar” will only set you back $15 during off-peak hours. Five hours at a workstation will set you back $25, and an office will be $40 (also during off-peak hours).

Blankspaces believes in a “new work order” with their mission being “to provide a modern, communal workspace that will inspire creativity, promote occupational freedom and accommodate independent professionals and entrepreneurs with ever-changing schedules and needs.” The nine to five routine seems to be so passé. Human efficiency is reaching new heights with communal workspace, promoting greater work ethic and sharing of ideas.
