Creating your own decor pieces can be quite cathartic! While searching for some new ideas, I stumbled upon shanty2chic.com which has loads of DIY ideas and projects.

2 – 1x6x4 whitewood boards
1- 2×4 stud
Total for wood was under $10… Yippee!
Gorilla Wood glue to attach it all together.
Cut 2×4 the same length as my other 2 boards (4ft)
Use wood glue and nails to attach the 1×4?s to the 2×4 like this…(pictures with instructions on site)
As you can see above, this is a beautiful little piece that you can use for a party or just for yourself at home!
