sTORI TELLING

I am in the Desert to reorganize my life and decided to bring along Tori Spelling’s new book, sTORI TELLING with me. Got to tell you, I can’t put it down. I am now trying to manifest Tori as a client. Tori, can you call me? TPG is very interested in handling little Liam or Stella’s birthday parties – call the office, they’ll give you my cell. Anyway, I, like millions of other 30 somethings watched Tori on 90210, of course. I must say I was a very big fan of Inn Love and Tori and Dean, Home Sweet Hollywood – my husband does not understand this fascination with reality tv but that’s a whole other blog.

Anyway, good for freakin’ Tori Spelling. No matter what anyone wants to say about her, she is a hard worker. If I had grown up at “The Manor” which is reputed to be the largest home in Southern California, I don’t know how much incentive I would have to work, but work she does. She keeps trying to build her career and now this book is a best seller. Tori is like the Ever-Ready Bunny, she just does not stop and is really trying to pull it all together. Maybe that would be a great theme for a party, an Ever-Ready Bunny party, courtesy of TPG – yet another blog. So even though it’s a little bit past summer beach read season, go and get Tori’s book; it’s a great respite from the 2008 campaign coverage and the bombings in Islamabad. Next!

You go Tori. P.S. Love the graphics, etc on the book, love her for calling out all of the rumors on herself (nose job, fake boobs, etc.) I think it’s a very good strategy to just bring up all the stuff that everyone is already talking about so you can set the record straight in the first place. I think this is how they handled the Tylenol crisis when all of that Tylenol was poisoned, the company just stood up and said, yes, people got poisoned, we’re sorry. OK, I think I’ve now had too much caffeine. Good bye.

  1. I have never watched a 90210, but am a huge fan of Tori and Dean’s adventures in their reality shows. I love her tenaciousness and the fact that she’s so determined to be the best mom she can be. I think I’ll ask for the book for the holidays! And, geesh! Little Liam is just the happiest baby boy.. I love that in a kid. He reminds me of mine. Once in an elevator at Marshall Fields, we were surrounded by strangers. My son, around 1.5 at the time, kept looking at this one woman in particular. She looked at him while he was soooooooo very happy to be noticed. She just turned her head. He looked at her, then at me, then at her and back and forth as if he was telling me, “What’s that bitch’s issue?” It was hilarious!
I hope you get your parties at the McDermott Baby Factory! I think you would do a fabulous job!!
