Show Notes from Today in San Diego

Today I was on NBC in San Diego. In anticipation of some of you wanting more information about The Special Event, a fun PAMA Martini, or my new website HowToBeAPartyGoddess.com, here are the notes, links and a fun recipe!

So how do you still have fun planning your next event without breaking the bank?
1. Think multi-purpose – make every aspect of your event work double time.

2. Skip the full bar and feature signature cocktails, plus beer and wine. Create silly names and have fun!

3. Trim your list. Only invite people you REALLY want to hang out with and feel good being around.

4. Getting into the biz? Take advantage of shows like The Special Event to network and look for new areas to market your business and stay current with the times.

– For more information on The Special Event, go to: www.specialevents.com and click on Special Events Conference and Trade Show or call: 708-486-0731 or 866-486-0731.
– The Trade Show takes place from January 28-30, 2009 at The San Diego Convention Center
111 W Harbor Drive San Diego, CA 92101 (619) 525-5000.

5. Want to be a Party Goddess? One of the fun new products we’re featuring on the HowToBeAPartyGoddess.com site is the 101 Things Every Successful Event Planner Must Have In Their Toolkit. Category 5 hurricane? No problem. Not even an event planner but love to entertain? Even better. This kit will have you covered!
