The majority of my adult life has been spent with rings around my eyes. I am not channeling a raccoon, nor goth, nor trying out the smoky eye look, it’s out of pure laziness. At night I scrub my face, apply my moisturizer (if I’m feeling really patient) and pretty much wrap up the day. This is not particularly smart because I NEVER get the mascara truly off my eyes. My mother has been appalled on many occasions when we’ve traveled together to see how careless I am. Quite frankly, with the majority of my teen years spent breaking out and having to have two courses of Accutane, I think I just gave up. I was sick of babysitting my skin. (Did I mention that I’m not that patient anyway or did you already figure that out?)
One of my other mottos in life is that if it isn’t easy, I’m really not interested. So, on my recent trip to Atlanta my BFF roommate whipped out these Pond’s Clean Sweep Cleansing and Make-Up Removing Towelettes. I secretly stole one and tried it out – I’m pretty sure before she got wind that one was missing. She is a very good looking girl with line-free skin so I thought she might have something on me. (I also had not ever noticed lingering black rings around any part of her.) I was amazed. Trust me, I am not getting paid by Ponds. These little towelettes come in packs of 30, smell delightful and actually take ALL of your makeup off. I currently am scrubbed and ready for bed (and this took about 2 minutes including soap time.) So, if you too are convinced that you are going to need Botox injections over your entire face due to your bad habits, get these Pond’s numbers and forget about it. Next.
