The other night I saw a show on the E! Channel and it featured painted servers. I just love this painted cocktail waitress thing because it is so creative and there’s a ton of opportunity for fabulosity (thank you Kimora Lee Simmons for that word.) These dazzlingly, amazingly beautiful girls are naked (could be a problem with A LOT of crowds – perhaps not so great for IBM’s annual meeting?) and painted in every color imaginable to suit the theme of the event. They look like fish, flowers, characters, art, you name it. My favorite quote from one of the model/servers though was that she didn’t actually feel naked because the paint is like really thick, just like real clothes. Um, yeah.
Regardless, for the right client, I think it could be show stopping. I still have great visions of doing a jewel heist theme with one waitress painted only in red body paint, (a ruby, get it?), only in green paint (emerald) and only in blue (sapphire) . Give those girls some coordinated long satin gloves and giant rocks on their fingers and around their necks and you’ve really got a party that packs the bling. Move over Liberace
