Martha Stewart Living Radio Halloween Tips & Tricks

Looking For Some Fun Halloween Ideas?

Had the greatest time on Martha Stewart Living Radio spilling my secrets on a great Halloween Party. If you missed it don’t worry here they are!…

6 Tips and Tricks:

  1. Pumpkin Fun – Instead of craving out pumpkins this year, use cool vinyl decals to dress up your pumpkins.
  2. Adult Can Be Kids Too – Instead of lemonade, serve some Ghoulade for a howling good time. Take cranberry juice, orange juice and vodka, mix it together and add some ice cubes that are died black with vegetable coloring. Add edible treats like gummy worm or gumball eyes to make fabulously cool Halloween cocktails.
  3. Spooky Gingerbread Haunted House – Provide kids with plain gingerbread houses with Halloween candies and orange frosting and let their imaginations run wild creating haunted houses!
  4. Bloody Candles – Take red candle and melt them onto white candles. Then display them in candelabras for the table centerpieces or the buffet.
  5. Decorate Your Party with a Theme – If you like classic monsters, decorate your whole party with monsters on everything from pumpkins to your scary lawn characters.
  6. Be Crafty – With so much talk about global warming and landfills that are overflowing, why not create a costume out of things that you have at home or find at flea markets and thrift stores.  Some of the best costumes I have seen were ones that people made themselves. And you don’t have to spend a lot of time making something. Besides, Mother Nature will love you all the more!
