TIPS for a Fabulous Party:
* Welcome to Panem! Invite the best from each district to join you in Panem! Send out personalized invitations letting your friends know that they were chosen to join you in Panem, the “shining” Capitol.
* Hunger Games Arena! Finished reading The Hunger Games? If not, copy a few of your favorite pages and print it on card stock with neutral tones. Frame the pages and place accordingly on your buffet. Use nature’s décor such as, tree stumps as risers and various branches and twigs for your buffet.
* A Tribute’s Snack! Katniss over indulged in fabulous food while she was away in Panem. Treat your guests with the same treats such as cookies in white paper bags, crackers with goat cheese (to remind you of Prim who awaits for your arrival back at home!). Create a trail mix bar for your friends to collect their very own berries and nuts just like Katniss and the rest of the tributes had to during the Hunger Games. You can even add the adorable Twig Stick Caramel Apples (above) by wwttw.pittr-pattr.com to tie the snacks in with your decor!
* To The Hunger Games! Serve up Katniss’ favorite drink, Orange Juice, with a twist of course! Don’t forget to toast, “to The Hunger Games!” with this fabulous mocktail all you need is orange juice, pineapple juice, Ginger Ale and some grenadine! Shake well before serving.
* The Question Is! Test your friends to see who has the best knowledge when it comes to The Hunger Games! Create a trivia game with questions such as, “What is the name of Katniss’ stylist?” and “ What is the name of the deadly berry that ends up killing Foxface?”
