Nothing says “fresh” like bright, yellow lemons. Now that spring is upon us, it’s time to begin brainstorming ideas for that fabulous soiree.
With “Fresh” being the theme, I drew inspiration from Martha Stewart’s Little Lemon Souffles.

All you will need to make these beauties is:
- 8 large lemons, preferably Meyer
- 3 large eggs, separated
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- Confectioners’ sugar, for dusting
What’s a gorgeous Spring day without a little lemonade?
A great little blog called www.spicyicecream.com has the perfect recipe for the adults at the party.
Whip up a batch of “Boozy Lemonade”, find some little vintage boxes like the one pictured here, add a striped straw, and you’re set to go!
Wait! There is one more itty-bitty touch that is too cute to ignore. Since the plan is to liven things up with lemon, you HAVE to make giant ice cubes with lemon slices inside of them.
After seeing this genius idea on www.industriousjustice.com, I was totally floored that I hadn’t thought of it before!
Things like this are really getting those wheels spinning in your head. What else can you come up with that speaks the language of your next Spring Fling?!
