What The Heck Do You Do With Felt Rocks?

Who knows? Who cares? I was checking out a cool website for a Vancouver, BC based firm called Molo Design ( www.molodesign.com ) when I stumbled upon one of their products, if you can call it that – felt rocks ( http://www.molodesign.com/en/products/felt_rocks.html )! Oh help, how fabulous. I am not sure at all what I would do with them but I know that my 2 year old will be unable to wound his siblings. You have to see them to believe them and get the true picture, but the decor applications are endless. How amazing would it be to sit down to a Zen dinner only to discover that the base of your centerpiece is felt?!

Molo describes them as “sculptural pieces, made from 100% pure wool felt – solid all the way through! felt rocks are sold in sets of 6 hand selected rocks, including one rock that has been split in half to reveal the solid wool interior. The felt rocks are packaged in a natural wool felt bag that can be re-purposed as a fashionable and useful hand bag. The rocks vary in shape in size, but average about 4-6 inches across. I guess these rocks are a byproduct of making some kind of felt polishing wheels. Who cares, they are divine.
