Los Angeles is buzzing with Food Trucks these days, but when we heard about The Buttermilk Truck, we knew we were in for a treat. First, it is breakfast all day everyday with this truck (Hip Hip Hooray!). Second, almost every item on the menu features their key ingredient, buttermilk (Praise the Lord!). We have long been believers in buttermilk, a secret ingredient in many of our baked goods, so it thrilled us to see buttermilk finally getting the credit it deserves by being a namesake for a food truck.
Some of their decadent menu items include, buttermilk biscuit breakfast sandwiches, buttermilk pancakes bites (which can be plain, or filled with red velvet or chocolate chip flavoring), and Hawaii breakfast sliders. And of course they always offer a selection of fresh baked buttermilk pastries and cakes. Our morning coffee is looking like a divine compliment to these confections.
