I was right.
OK, so I’ve been on Fox and Friends a bunch of times doing different fun segments. Fox is my kind of place because everyone is hip, upbeat and ready to stir up some trouble! So on one of the last segments I did for them I mentioned this casserole dish that we do for events that just knocks everyone’s socks off (see my blog aroung 12/1 or 12/2.) So, shocker, we served it for our New Year’s Eve client yesterday and GUESS WHAT? Everyone loved the casserole! Including me, because I brought some home to eat late night for lunch today. It was DELICIOUS. So whip yoself up some casserole because it be really good!
Here was last night’s menu, in case you’re curious. (The whole thing was washed down with some peppermint martinis with red sugared rims and candy canes hooked over the tops of the frosted glasses – very North Pole L.A.)
Buffet (note exciting contractual details about sizes, etc):
• Beef Cheeseburger Sliders (not cut in half, 2.5″ diameter in size)
• Truffled Macaroni and Cheese (baked and gooey with regular bigger elbow pasta)
• Grilled Cheese Paninis (cut so they are of manageable size)
• Croque Monsieur (ham and cheese, cut so they are of manageable size)
• Grilled Vegetables – Room Temperature (eggplant, peppers, yellow squash, green zucchini and asparagus
with garlic, olive oil, rosemary etc.- no onions)
• Baked Chicken Casserole with Tortillas and Green Chilis
• Mixed Greens and Arugula Salad with Candied Walnuts, Pears, Gorgonzola, and Balsamic Vinaigrette
Dessert:
• Mini Cupcakes on 3 Tiers (see flavors below):
– White or Yellow Cake with Milk Chocolate Frosting
– Red Velvet
– Chocolate Cake with Chocolate Frosting
• MILK Chocolate Fountain
– Marshmallows, Strawberries, Bananas, Oreo Cookies
– Bowl of Malted Milk Balls for Liz and Marley
