Dangerously Animalistic: Animal Restaurant Review

While we appreciate the vegetarians among us, we are carnivores through and through. So when we heard about a new restaurant called Animal that sprung up in the middle of Vegan Valley, we were thrilled.

Animal is just that, many a different animal, served many a different way on your plate. Delictable pork belly is offered alongside the Canadian’s ‘white-trash’ Poutine (french fries topped with cheese curds and oxtail gravy). Two young chefs are the brains behind the business, and business it is, with a packed house almost every night, these boys knows that meat lovers have been languishing in a dry spell.

The menu is seasonal and can rotate daily, depending on what the chefs believe are the freshest ingredients available to them. The décor of the restaurant is minimal chic, allowing the food to take the staring role.

Dessert? How about a bacon chocolate bar? Paradise.
