Better TV & Martha Stewart Living Radio Father’s Day Show Notes

Hello everyone! Just got back from New York where I had a lovely time filming a segment for Better TV on Father’s Day tips and tricks. This morning I also shared my tips on Martha Stewart Living Radio. Check out the tips below to get creative and make the day memorable and fun for Dad!

Tips:

  • Label Away. Customize and personalize one of your Dad’s favorite BBQ sauces. Snap a pic, put on sticker paper and wrap around the bottle or jar. Every time he goes to use, his taste buds will sweeten with thoughts of you!
  • Finders Keepers. Find some small stackable boxes and designate a layer (single box) to each child. Any kind of trinket that makes each child unique to Dad will suffice; a favorite color, sport, memory, etc…
  • Family Frosties. Make snow cones for the whole family to enjoy at your Father’s Day lunch!  You can add frozen fruit for the kids and spike the adult’s cones with a splash of Rum or Vodka!
  • Cool and Convenient. Instead of doing the traditional toolbox for Father’s Day, do a boozebox instead! Find small nips and baby bottles of wine and liquor to spice up any BBQ or game day!
  • Home Run Fun. Get the whole neighborhood involved in a Father’s Day baseball or football game! Divide the left side of the neighborhood with the right side, take fun family photos and iron onto a white t-shirt. Head to your local park and get ready to fumble!
