When In Doubt, You Bring The Spanx

Hey, let’s be honest, we all own a pair or two and if you don’t, WHATEVER (you’ll get there sister)!

After our last video blog where Marley shared her Flight From Hell, I thought, “Hey, this is REALLY good. You’re really funny! Give us more!” She thought, “I drank bleach for crying out! What the hell do you want me to do now?!”

So naturally, I had word vomit…

“Talk about the fun parties you’re missing out on! Did you binge on room service? Maybe find out what are Florida crackers?” Granted, these thoughts stemmed from my perception of what it would be like at a conference FULL of event planners. Could you blame me? The Special Event (TSE) is filled with amazing decor, innovative entertainment, and reeks of vodka…right?

As the word projectile continued, I thought…”Spanx?” Look, I have a tendency to think of really obscure things. Asking what designer someone wore is really starting to bore me and I’m sure Marley would agree. However, I didn’t think she’d take on this topic. I thought she would actually tell me how bummed she was to miss out on the after party at Cuba Libre Restaurant.

She sends me the video and of course she laughs at the Spanx idea. But wait! Remember how she laid in bed for THREE days? Well, she forgot to mention how she stuffed her face with Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups and guess what? She woke up with a muffin top and no Spanx. HA! Good luck covering up with the thongs, missy!

So… moral of the story?

You can’t have Reese’s & binge on Cheaters when you don’t have the all mighty Spanx. All hail the Spanx!
