Giving Thanks For The Fabulous & Fantastic In Your Life!
Can you believe that it’s the end of November and the year’s winding down? It’s a good time for reflecting and giving thanks! Maybe it’s because we just celebrated Thanksgiving — the actual holiday designated for giving thanks.
I have so much to be thankful for! My wonderful family. An exciting career. Amazing clients and colleagues. Coffee and more coffee. Shoes! Candy! And a well-made cocktail at the end of the week. Or on Wednesday, whichever comes first! Okay, let’s be honest, cocktails are good any day of the week!
Every day I encounter interesting people I’m so grateful to have met! And I constantly discover new things that I didn’t know I couldn’t live without: fun products, shoes, accessories, party favors, gadgets, shoes… oh I already said that… apps, recipes, candy, the list goes on and on! The world is full of creative people making cool stuff. So now’s a good time to appreciate it all and to tell the important people in our life how much we treasure them.
Now it’s your turn! What are you giving thanks for this Thanksgiving?
If you’ve been one of my loyal blog followers, you know that we publish these image roundups weekly. We feature a particular event for a particular client (well, actually this week, we’ve sidetracked a bit) so you can go deep on the particular theme. If you know what’s up, skip this part. New visitors, take a look below…
In case you missed it, here’s what we’re doing, mentioned in the first blog. (And if you already know what’s going on, skip to the first photo!) Every day we’re posting event photos & inspiration to my Instagram page to give you ideas for your own events. And, of course, to encourage you to hire yours truly, event coordinator extraordinaire, for your next soirée! In terms of format, we’re trying to capitalize on the whole hashtag calendar world and take advantage of #WeddingWednesday (#WW) and #ThrowbackThursday (#TBT) by posting wedding photos and cool stuff we’ve done on Wednesdays and on Thursdays, harkening back to a past client’s event, be it a celebrity, or just one of us tastemakers.
