Wedding Event Planner Shares 10 Images Of NOT Your Everyday Wedding
Here is our event photos and inspiration weekly roundup. I was SUPPOSED to post this recap of images this past Saturday, and naturally edit them sooner, but jetted off to The Montage with the kids instead. Very fun, but I have to say, I felt QUITE guilty not getting this posted and up. Loved this wedding as random as it was. Tell us what you think in the comments below!
If you know what’s up, skip this part, newbies, please continue…
In case you missed it, here’s what we’re doing, mentioned in the first blog (and if you already know what’s going on, skip to the first photo!): “Every afternoon we’re posting event photos & inspiration to my Instagram page to give you ideas for your own events, and of course, encourage you to hire yours truly, fabulous event planner in California for your next soiree! In terms of format, we’re trying to capitalize on the whole hashtag calendar world and take advantage of #WeddingWednesday (#WW) and #ThrowbackThursday (#TBT) by posting wedding photos and cool stuff we’ve done on Wednesdays and on Thursdays, harkening back to a past client’s event, be it a celebrity, or just one of us tastemakers.
Favorite Event Photos and Inspiration – Monday:
This wedding (and reception) took place in a warehouse in Downtown Los Angeles. I have to say, blank spaces, including warehouses, photo studios and a lot of times modern galleries are some of my favorites because you can do ANYTHING.
While this image is a little bright, I wanted you to take a look at the asian station made not of flower orbs, but radishes, lemons and peppers. You can’t tell so much in the photos, but these were big boys!
Favorite Event Photos and Inspiration – Tuesday:
Chandeliers and neon DO mix! The linens in the second photo were high pile orange fur trimmed in hot pink maribou and the flowers were paved roses in industrial containers, literally, pipe fittings.
Favorite Event Photos and Inspiration – Wednesday:
Happy #WeddingWednesday (#WW): Check out the angel who hung at the end of the white carpet where the ceremony took place. What you see hanging are fresh white stargazer lilies on wire “strings.” The effect was insane. (And the cake had sparklers attached. Natch.)
Favorite Event Photos and Inspiration – Thursday:
#ThrowbackThursday (#TBT). #TBT to me means heading back to fun stuff you love. The high pile fur had neon spandex chairs and very cool spandex kind of large sculptures. They sort of mirrored the pipe fittings for the centerpieces.
Favorite Event Photos and Inspiration – Friday:
And what exactly should happen in the world, without an ice luge? 🙂
Event Photos and Inspiration – Plus, tell me what else you want to see on the blog!:
So, how’d we do and what’s we miss? We’ve got a follow up post planned that features our other must haves, but let me know in the comments what you can’t live without!
xoxo M
