Eyelashes are one of those things that you don’t pay a ton of attention to on someone else unless there’s truly something train-wreckish about them or extraordinarily amazing. It’s sort of the same with eyebrows. A truly stellar aesthetician can make magic on the face with a good eyebrow wax. Get a bad one and you look like some sort of very challenged transvestite who was slightly over-agressive in the plucking department, resulting in the paint on look. Anyway, this is not about eyebrow waxing.
A few months ago I was talking to my girlfriend and about 10 seconds into the conversation got distracted. What was different about her face? The eyelashes? Whose eyelashes ever change? So I immediately asked her what kind of mascara she was using because I needed to stop the convo and apply it asap. She replied that she wasn’t wearing any. Hugh? Someone’s on Human Growth Hormone then beside Roger Clemens. My girlfriend was using Revitalash. What the frick is Revitalash? Evidently the greatest thing since Hoodia Pops. Revitalash makes your eyelashes grow for days (you see results after about a month.) Evidently a real life doctor, Dr. Michael Brinkenhoff, stumbled on the discovery when he was researching it for something else and gave it to his wife who was battling cancer and had lost her hair. I digress, on Wednesday, another friend was talking about the same product and sure enough, looked insanely fabulous. Note: the stuff is EXPENSIVE but how much could you really go through?
