Cocktails, flowers, and champagne… they’re just three reasons why people love pink so much! And with so many shades of pink to choose from, this pretty pastel color remains a top pick for weddings, floral arrangements and apparel. Just ask this little one! She probably doesn’t even know it’s National Pink Day, she just knows that pink is awesome!
OK, I’ll admit that I love feeling like a kid, but I also love the pleasures of being an adult. My top pleasure, of course, being a cocktail! We recently hosted a bridal event, so naturally, we made sure to stock up on Sofia Minis.
These whimsical single-serving cans of sparkling wine come beautifully packaged in a metallic pink box (hostess gift alert!) and each shimmering pink can comes with a mini straw so you can keep your lipstick in place! They’re perfect for sipping poolside and at bridal showers, or pretty much any time you’d like something light and refreshing!
Know what else I like that’s pink? Mixed drinks! Rose Champagne is a great start, but if you’re feeling really fru fru, here are 13 Pink Cocktails from our lovely friends at Brit + Co you can try!
Beyond Beverages On National Pink Day
Now that you’ve got your liquor covered (pink-wink!) here are some other ways to incorporate pink into your life. We created dozens of these pink floral arrangements for a wedding last year in the shape of large flower balls that covered an arch on the altar. Combined with a million twinkling white lights suspended from trees, the setting was truly magical!
The other great thing about choosing pink as a color theme for events is that pink works with so many other accent colors. You can be bold and combine with green to create a more tropical feel with orchids and bromeliads, or you can blend an array of tone-on-tone colors like we did here with pink and lilac offset by antique gold to create a really alluring, romantic feel!
Still haven’t had enough? A few weeks ago we featured a collection of pink wedding inspiration (and it wasn’t even National Pink Day yet!), which should tell you just how much I love this cheery color!
