What an amazing fundraiser we had Saturday, November 19th for such a wonderful charity! Hopefield.org has been so blessed by the fact that Leona Lewis has decided to make it her mission to save these animals.
Loads of celebrities showed for this inspiring event that took place in an ah-mazing home in the Hollywood Hills!
In this picture, you see Matthew Morris (from Glee) performing “Somewhere Over the Rainbow” with Leona. What a fabulous rendition they performed!!
Throughout the home we displayed the different animal’s pictures along with their “stories” in white picture frames.
This is a picture of “Alfie”. He came to Hopefield on Christmas Eve years ago. He had been left on the side of the road and the police were planning to shoot him due to the hazard he would cause to motorists. A man walked him 5 miles to a safe place where he could stay until he was able to be taken to Hopefield the next morning. Alfie has been happy and safe at Hopefield ever since.
