Two successful woman architects turn food truck drivers? Tell me more.
Freya Estreller and Natsha Case originally teamed up in the architecture world, but then couldn’t stop swapping stories about their love of food. Farchitecture was born soon after. Its first endeavor was Cool Haus, a mimic of the famous architect Rem Koolhaus (we have him to thank for the uber hip Prada stores).
Cool Haus serves up artisanal ice cream sandwiches in unexpected places in an attempt to reclaim public and urban space for an area to eat and gather as a community.
You can choose your ice cream and cookie flavor, or choose one of the well know combinations, also mimicking other famous design contributors.
The cookies range from classic chocolate chip and snicker doodle to whimsical with peanut butter and banana. The ice creams flavors really push the envelope with carrot cake, balsamic fig and mascarpone, and orange chocolate cointreu (among many others).
