Well, it’s the first day of autumn and it’s all Pumpkin Spice this, and Pumpkin Spice that! As much as I like my PS lattes, come cocktail hour I’m looking for something with a little more drunky factor! Luckily, the world’s bartenders have already jumped on that bandwagon for me! In searching for pumpkin spice cocktails, I happily learned that there are a number of liquor brands offering limited-time seasonal pumpkin flavored booze. Baileys, for instance!
Baileys is always good in coffee, so this seemed like a natural. Bravo, Baileys Irish (probably not Irish at all) peeps! I also found a few pumpkin flavored vodkas which you can put in martini recipes if you don’t want to add actual pumpkin puree to your drinks, like some of these recipes call for. I also discovered that Kahlua, which is a coffee flavored liqueur, makes a pumpkin variety as well.
