Say what?! Make a statement at your next event with a stylish, creative sign!

So, you’ve got a fantastic theme lined up for your next party. Plus the perfect decor, gorgeous flowers, a solid playlist. And of course a who’s who of your best peeps on the guest list. Is there a final detail you might be forgetting? Hmmm… I didn’t mention food, but I’m pretty sure you’ve got that covered. How about some cool event signage? It’s a creative way to make a statement and add personality or humor to your event. Not that people don’t already know how funny and fabulous you are! That’s probably why they’re coming to your party in the first place. But still, some good signs can up the cool factor of your party in just a few words.

What kind of signs are we talking about? You name it! You can go witty or straightforward. Simple or big. While sometimes the mood (or the budget) calls for simple, you can probably guess which I prefer! This week, we shared photos of some très cool event signage from a few of our past parties. As you can see, there are so many ways to do signs, depending on the vibe you want. Project words on a wall. Have a marquee-type billboard. Use a chalkboard. Hire a calligrapher or DIY-it. Be cute or sassy (I’m partial to sassy!). Have fun and do like Madonna says: Express yourself!

In case you missed it, here’s what we’re doing, mentioned in the first blog. (And if you already know what’s going on, skip to the first photo!) Every day we’re posting event photos & inspiration to my Instagram page to give you ideas for your own events. There was no confusion about whether people had arrived at the right location for this party! A simple projector did the trick. What a splashy way to greet guests… and make everyone driving by jealous that they weren’t invited!

Wow! Luv this marquee-inspired sign. U should have it at ur next partay! Seriously hottt!

Favorite Event Photos and Inspiration – Wednesday:

How do you like this sign greeting guests at a reception that warns them of all the vices that await them inside? Though out of context, I can’t quite tell if it’s from a wedding reception or a “Kiss Me, I Just Got Divorced” party. Happy #WeddingWednesday!

Are shirt & shoes not required for your party? That shirtless part sounds fun! At least I think it does… depends who you’re inviting! Go ahead and let everyone know right off the bat just how cas’ they can be with a cute sign like this one. It’ll class up your “no shirt, no shoes” party. #TGIF

None too subtle! This sign covers just about any reason someone would want to hop a ride at an event instead of walk. What would your reason be?!
