With a company called The Party Goddess! it is probably not surprising that I love my beauty treatments; there’s just not enough time in the day for them though! Recently, I hit the beauty jackpot when a fabulous woman from New York emailed me to say that The Dashing Diva was coming to Pasadena. Few matches are made in heaven like the pairing of a diva and a goddess so I was thrilled to book my next appointment.
The Dashing Diva does really cool stuff – ladies’ night on Thursdays for mocktails and pedicures as well as the most amazing plan for sterilizing utensils that you’ve ever seen. Their contraption looks like something Dr. Spock would surely approve of. I recently tried their Warm Tea Pedicure which leverages the many healthy benefits of tea. While sipping honey ginseng green tea, my feet were treated to a detoxifying “herbal bath tea” and green tea mineral soak. Then came the foot and lower leg massage with this scrub made from white tea and crushed rose petals, followed by a purifying fab foot masque. We’re not done though, because then your feet are slipped into warm Italian honey paraffin and wrapped up in booties. Then it’s another massage, this one for a full ten minutes (I timed it) before your toes get polished.
But hurry up! Dashing Diva’s “Warm Tea Pedicure” is only being offered through March 19th. Whether you live in Pasadena, are just visiting or live far away, it’s worth the trip!
UPDATE: The Pasadena location closed. You’ll just have to schedule a girl’s trip to N.Y. to check it out!
