Once and awhile I encounter people or places that I just totally connect with. This time my little connection came in a very strange way. On my way from an appointment at the Dashing Diva nail salon, I passed Clothes Heaven. I actually passed it twice, once on my way to Carmody and Company to get some thank you cards and again on the way back to the car. I was completely drawn into the place by this giant gold kind of Byzantine looking cross that I felt I just must have to adorn my holiday neck.
When I was struck by this amazing piece of jewelry the second time (a necklace or a belt really) I decided to just enter this little hive of activity known as Clothes Heaven www.clothesheaven.com . I found tons of little treasures from some of my favorite stores, Lulu Brandt most importantly. While I did give in to the necklace, I stopped short at the mink stole, Gucci shoes and Marni jacket I was literally salivating over. I was after all in between work appointments, not supposed to be shopping and certainly nothing could justify merely adding a mink throw in the trunk when I’m supposed to be only buying Christmas presents.
So anyway, if “gently worn” garments, shoes and accessories are your bag passed on to Clothes Heaven by some chick from Caesars Palace and another one with the last name of Nordstrom, check out Clothes Heaven on Union Street in Old Pasadena. Happy hunting!
