One of My Favorite Events – EVER

It helps when you’ve got the coolest, nicest clients in the world to work with which was 100% the case on this New Years Eve wedding. I just wrapped a teleseminar series with my friend Ciara Daykin (Rockstar Wedding Planner) and I promised to blog and show photos of one of my most favorite events.

This was a New Year’s Eve “winter wonderland” wedding that took place in Pasadena, California. The lighting was just as magical as the couple – hues of blue and shades of purple complimented the whole ice situation. We created chandeliers that were 5? across and wrapped them with frosted garland, glitter, mini to giant icicles and hung them from the middle of the custom tent. The perimeter of the tent was lined with a kazillion white light strewn birch trees and giant white-flocked icicle trees flanked the corners.

Because the groom is the chef at Dodger Stadium, midnight showed up along with tons of Dodger Dogs, donuts and cartons of milk. Plus, the whole thing changed from blue hues to hot red and orange tones as guests rocked it on the clear plexiglass dance floor that covered the pool. Everyone had a ball with the New Year’s hats and blowers.

And that, was one of my favorite events ever!

It’s always great to love your job!

Toodles for now,
The Party Goddess! signing off and heading home from Tampa.
