Yesterday we got to do an event for Ali Landry’s daughter, Estela’s second birthday at the Pirate’s Booty Beach House in Malibu. What a treat! The theme was a tricked out Shirley Temple number complete with Johnny Rocket’s hamburgers and these fab new Orchid liqueur cocktails. Yours truly got a fabulous Fake Bake tan courtesy of my new bff, Pashia Fischer. (Attention L.A. Gals – Pashia will go to your HOUSE when you’re desperate – you can find her at 310-926-1128, or via email alisttan@live.com – yes, I have permission to give out her info.)
Anyway, the Malibu house was amazingly gorgeous, light and bright and of course the paparazzi were out in full force. They pretended to be hanging out sunbathing until Ali, Nancy O’Dell and Marissa Winokur Baker (Dance Your Ass Off) showed up and then suddenly the tanning went by the wayside. My new favorite snack is Pirate’s Booty that is actually pretty healthy and I ate PLENTY of it. I am sending a GIANT thank you to the Silver Spoon girls (insanely talented Melissa, Anna and Jordan) who handled all of the swag, ran the house and did a crazy fabulous job. All the celebs at the event said that the Silver Spoon girls have got the best swag around and there is NO doubt about that.
For more details, check out this week’s edition of OK! Magazine who has the exclusive. I hope that my new bff, Kimberly Bailey of The Butter End Cakery gets lots of press for her insanely adorable cake – if you can even call that masterpiece a cake. I think I can post pictures after OK! runs and I’ll post them on the blog.
