“Learning” in the Cayman Islands

I’m having a ball down on Grand Cayman at Engage’09, but really, I am working and learning a ton. I have so much respect for all that the speakers have accomplished. We’ve been listening to Darcy Miller from Martha Stewart Weddings, Sylvia Weinstock from Sylvia Weinstock Cakes, Preston Bailey’s coming up very soon and Marcy Blum was AMAZING this morning. (Sylvia launched herself on Twitter right here at the conference!)

I know that I preach all of the time about having passion and getting a ton of education. I have been in this business for 17 years and it amazes me how much I’m learning and how much I still have to learn. I’ve been getting so much inspiration, meeting a ton of great new friends and just feeling all around inspired. Yes the economy has come up, but we’re focused on creating amazing experiences here for our future clients.
