Who doesn’t love a great holiday movie? In addition to entertaining us they can
also provide great inspiration for your next holiday party. Check out some of my favorite holiday movie ideas, as well as the segments that just aired on “The Better Show.”
3. Music – “Holiday Inn” and “White Christmas” are a veritable feast of amazing Bing Crosby jingles. Pre-program the iPod or do a little Pandora research ahead of time and everything will seem a lot cheerier!
4. Décor – Take a cue from “Christmas Vacation” and go cray cray on the lights and borrow some fun ideas from classic children’s movies “Elf,” “Rudolph, the Red-Nosed Reindeer” or “Frosty the Snowman.”
- “Elf” – Create a super clean and white color scheme with snowflakes and white garland.
- “Rudolph, the Red-Nosed Reindeer” or “Frosty the Snowman” – Add in a vintage touch with old-fashioned holiday ornaments or break out the paper and crayons and let the kids create some festive place settings.
