Since this pregnancy has consumed my entire
life, I would like you to know that it has finally come to an end! A
very sore Party Goddess with a very challenged internet signal is
finally emailing you from the hospital. Goodness, there are reasons why
women do better at giving birth at 25 instead of 38. Help!
Anyway, our little angel is finally here. Her name is Coco Serrio (official
birth certificate reads Julia Colette – after my Mom and my husband’s
aunt, Coco.) She weighed in at 7lbs even, 20″. I don’t have a photo to
post because I think I look ridiculously horrible in all of them so
I’ll have to wait until tomorrow to post just one of the little
princess. So far she has been a really good eater and all around good
baby. Thank heavens! After a 12 hour labor, she ended up being an
emergency C-section. Tomorrow I check out and the baby nazi arrives to
control every morsel that goes in my mouth (not for dieting purposes
but so that the baby isn’t collicky, etc.) I am going to shut down Domino’s
with the volume of pepperoni pizza orders I’m going to place right now. Thanks
for all of your calls and emails guys, I promise, I’ll follow up asap.
