Okay, this is my all time FAVE of the Oscar Party Ideas! Announce guests’ arrival over a microphone and have fake paparazzi taking photos (even if it’s just your kids with disposable cameras should you distrust them with your smartphone.) Going old school can be quite hilarious!
Get Out The Vote
Create your own ballots featuring the top categories and their respective nominees. Have each guest circle the name of who they think is going to win in that category. The person who guesses right scores a prize on the spot. In case of a tie, pool the names of everyone who guessed right and draw the final winner.
Warm Up Your Guests Before The Ceremony Begins
It’s all about workin’ the crowd, people! Most Oscar Party Ideas neglect that critical time before the Academy Awards actually begin. So, while everyone eats, drinks, and swoons over dresses as the stars walk in, make up name tags with the names of famous celebrities and place them on the back of each guest.
