Sunday brunch just begs for something a little extraordinary. Depending on your juice preference, we suggest a Mimosa or Mary. While everyone can add three parts vodka or champagne to tomato or orange juice, there are tons of holiday infused variations of these classics floating around brunch menus across Los Angeles. Out of work actors who double as bar tenders clearly have too much time and too big of a hangover, thus producing these concoctions;
The Poinsettia:
2 oz chilled cranberry juice
3 ½ oz chilled champagne
The Di Saronna:
¾ oz Amaretto
2 oz champagne
2 oz orange juice
The Bloody Maria:
1 ½ oz tequila
4 oz tomato juice
Juice from ½ a lime
4 dashes of Cholula hot sauce
2 dashes of Worcestershire sauce
pinch of salt
pinch of pepper
pinch of horseradish
and for the men at the table..
The Beer-mosa
3 ½ oz of chilled Hefeweizen beer
2 oz of chilled orange juice
