If you watched even one minute of The Golden Globes Red Carpet on Sunday night, you surely noticed some clear trends. The one that stood out the most: RED LIPS! Another fun trend happened to be something that I absolutely love: sparkles! Sparkles on the bodice, the long train, or even on a few of the beautiful ladies’ heads. Which brings us to the trend of the headband. Between Charlize Theron and Michelle Williams, I’m headed straight to find myself a new, sparkling, headband.
When it came to dress colors, there were complete polar opposites happening on the carpet. SO many of the dresses were either nude or white. More than I’ve ever seen at any event. If the frocks weren’t muted nudes, they were extremely bright jewel tones. Although many were stunning, Angelina stole the limelight with her bright white dress with a red pop of color in the collar.
One last trend that was clear was the mermaid dress. Those with that perfect hour glass shape filled it out perfectly. My vote for the best was definitely Sophia Vergara.
