 Spring is in the air! With all the economic gloom and doom surrounding us, the natural beauty of Spring and Easter has become the must do reason to celebrate! FACTS & FIGURES:

* The Easter Bunny legend is German in origin and tells of a poor woman living in Germany who decorated colorful eggs for her children to find. As soon as the hidden treasures were discovered, a large rabbit was seen hopping away.

* The custom of giving eggs at Easter time has been traced back to Egyptians, Persians, Gauls, Greeks and Romans for whom the egg was a symbol of life.

* The first Easter baskets were made to look like birds’ nests.

* In 1953, it took 27 hours to create a Marshmallow Peep. Today it takes six minutes.

* Ninety million chocolate Easter bunnies are produced each year.

*If you laid all of the candy eggs produced by the Cadbury Company, end to end, they would stretch a staggering 12,000 miles!
