Had SO much fun being the keynote speaker at my Alma mater, Mayfield Senior School, today! What a bunch of great girls. Here was some of the advice I shared with them.
Marley’s 3 Tips:
1) Become a dot connector. When you’re someone who can truly put the pieces together in work and in life, you make yourself INVALUABLE.
2) Remember that your network is your net worth.
3) Be nice. You have absolutely no idea what’s going on in the other person’s world.
And a bonus!
3a) Don’t compare yourself to others. Figure out what makes you fabulous and work it. It makes no difference whatsoever what other people are doing.
Whether you’re 16 or 66, I think the advice can benefit us all. Now I just need to make sure I keep doing it!
